This place was amazing! They were busy yet the food was placed like a work of art. Nobody had to wait long for food thanks to the cooks.The portions were big. The staff was very nice. Great example on how things can be even with the difficulty of this covid issue. They cleaned their menus after use. We were never out of drinks despite they had to bring a new glass every time and busy. The place was very clean. The menus were huge. I couldn't find one issue.Great example of how restaurant can run with covid.

Good food and great prices

Enormous portions for a good price. I ordered an ice tea and a chicken fried steak breakfast that came with biscuits and gravy, eggs, and hash brown for a total of only 13.50.

When our food came it was good... BRENDA our server seemed she was on drugs is the only way to explain it from our observation but as far as the cooks job on the meal was great! Maybe a different server next time

Prime Rib is AWFUL! They grill the prime with liquid smoke! It's soooo bad. Waitress was very nice. Salad bar was good. Just beware of the prime it's nasty!

This is a really quaint small-town cafe, where you can seat yourself, and in no time the staff are greeting you and asking you what you want to drink. I ordered a (South?) Western omelette, and I think due to a miscommunication on my part, the hash browns that normally come with it were not included. I didn't ask for them although I was still charged full price. The omelette tasted amazing, while the fruit bowl seemed a little on the"old" side. Overall really great people.

Clean place with good food and large portions. Coffee cup never got below half. Good, friendly service.

Have the cobb salad. Thing was huge, and a really nice for the price. Service was also very good.

Loved it!!! Our waitress Jamie was absolutely awesome!!! She took care of our every need and was super sweet!!!! The food was great too!!

Good food. Poor service. Waited 20 minutes for them to put lettuce on the salad bar. After reminding them several times.

Staff was friendly, salad bar was not that good. Salad was old and selection was okay. Ribeye steak was over cooked and had no flavor. Not sure I would go back.

Okay wow, best Pickle Chips I've had in a while. They batter the pickle chips in some kind of thick, delicious batter, that pretty much tastes like what they probably batter the chicken strips in. And the batter doesn't slide off the pickle--sooo good!! We also had the Tuna Melt on sour dough bread, but make sure to tell them what kind of cheese you want. I didn't specify, and they gave me American cheese, and I literally hate American cheese. We also had the Veggie Skillet, which came with sauteed mushrooms, bell peppers, broccoli, cauliflower, and it is in a really nice, light sauce, and the penne and garlic bread it came with was good. We ordered a side of two eggs over easy to throw on top of the Veggie Skillet, and it tr tasted really good, and added some good protein. The coffee was good, and our server, Lizzie, was absolutely perfect:)

Breakfast there is great(I've had it before)! But, the Chicken Fried Steak dinner was horrible, it tasted freezer burned and was tough, at least the mashed potatoes were good...

Clean environment, friendly staff, good, moderately priced meals in a nice location close to gas stations, the Interstate, and hotels.

Nice clean and spacious restaurant. Plenty of parking for truck and trailer. Breakfast was good both times we were here working the last week. Pancakes were a little tough but the service was good and the waitress was pleasant. We had breakfast but the salad bar was set up for lunch and looked good.

I actually think that 3.5 stars out of 5 would be more accurate, but I am rounding up to be generous. This restaurant needs a facelift, inside and out. But I realize, that might be a tough expense for a small family diner. The men's restroom was absolutely disgusting. Our server started off real sweet but when someone in our group wasn't satisfied with their order, her attitude changed and she became more rigid and less personable. The food was good old fashioned comfort food. Decent portions and tasted good. The bacon could have been better, but that is really just knit picking at this point. If I come back to town, I would probably search for another place to try before going back here. However, I am not entirely opposed to returning, it just wouldn't be my first choice. I would recommend to give it a try.

We stopped at this cafe for breakfast and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, generous portions, and outstanding service. Food was superb! We will definitely stop here again if we are ever in this part of Montana again.

Great place to eat prices about normal u won't leave hungry

I really look forward to 'diners and dives' This place may have put my sense of exploration to an end. Trying to say something positive to maintain credibility : Berry pie was decent; everything else was terrible Vegetable stir fry was burnt and had chicken (daughter is vegetarian) Heard somebody else complaining their's didn't have chicken and they ordered without mushrooms Wonder if theirs was burnt too?I really expected roast beef to be OK, being in Montana A Swanson dinner would be 5 star cuisine by comparison One bite and hoped the meat wasn't tainted because I swallowed. Asked 3 times for no gravy on DINNER. . please put in side cup. Guess who got boatloads of gravy flowing all around? Yep, the cook was trying to hide his abomination FAIL.

This cafe was a nice place to go to for us travelling through. The staff where nice and the food made reasonably fast. All of it was made well and the prices where competitive. The interior of this cafe was cozy and they had some outlets where we sat which was nice.

Wonderful breakfast! Warning...the pancakes are HUGE!! So delicious though!

A disappointment. The shrimp entree didn’t have flavor and fried to a crisp. However, the potato soup was decent. My brother and his wife had hamburger steak and my mom had chicken fried steak, none of them enjoyed theirs either. Only the kids thought the food was good.

Just a good old fashioned cafe. The waitress was friendly and stayed busy. The food was very good. We had the Turkey and dressing special it was a lot of food. A little different than dressing in Texoma but good. Other customers food looked good as well.

My family and I traveled for a few hours and after checking into our hotel, we walked across the street to have supper because it was conveniently located. Just being honest and not mean, we were all disappointed with our meal except the 2 kids. I had the battered hamburger steak and it was not hot after waiting quiet awhile to get it. My sister in law got the seafood platter and when it came it was plain and had no seasoning at all. She sent it back and got the fried shrimp and it was just as nasty. She is gonna have to go somewhere to find something to eat. What the sad part is, is that our bill came and it was 92.28. WOW!

I had a taco salad that was loaded and generous, but the taco meat was clumpy and the salsa watery.

Wednesday morning, traveling from Bismarck to Las Vegas, I remembered this place from 2012 when I first moved up north. I had knoephla soup for the first time here. I wanted to introduce their recipe to Marjorie, who is traveling with me. Oh yeah, they only serve it Monday. I reluctantly ordered the bacon potato. No worries, it's pretty dang good too. My hot beef dish came out loaded to the edges of the plate. Very tender roast beef, plenty of gravy, and fresh, real, mashed potatoes. I know good, and this place is great!

I don’t like fries typically. Let me just say I ate almost all of the beer battered fries I ordered with my pizza burger. I LOVE THIS PLACE! Yummy food & such a sweet waitress we had!

Great food, good size servings and solid service. I'd definitely recommend it!
